Chevrolet Trax: Power brake booster vacuum hose replacement
Removal Procedure
- With the engine OFF, apply and release the brake pedal several times to
deplete the power vacuum brake
booster vacuum reserve.
- Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle

- Through the left front wheelhouse, disconnect the power brake booster
vacuum hose quick connect (1)
from the power brake booster pump port.
- Lower the vehicle.

- Disconnect the power brake booster vacuum hose quick connect (1) from
the intake manifold vacuum
port.
- Disconnect the power brake booster vacuum sensor electrical connector.

- Remove the power brake booster vacuum sensor and hose assembly (1) from
the power vacuum brake
booster grommet.

- Release the clamp and remove the power brake booster vacuum sensor (1).
- Remove the power brake booster vacuum hose assembly.
Installation Procedure
- Install the power brake booster vacuum hose assembly to the vehicle.

NOTE: A small amount of denatured alcohol may be used as a
lubricant for
assembly.
- Release the clamp and install the power brake booster vacuum sensor (1).

- Connect the power brake booster vacuum hose quick connect (1) to the
